Branch Administrator

Job Description

A fast growing company in the importation and distribution of mining, agricultural, industrial and machining spares is inviting applications for the position Branch Administrator reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop business strategies to raise our customer’s pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.

Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits and propose innovative ideas to increase market share.

Deal with issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc.) and demonstrate exemplary behavior and high performance levels.
Product costing and gross profit monitoring and ensuring all financial transactions strictly comply with organization policies, guidelines and regulations;
Ensure that all financial records are complete, up to date and filed systematically; Accurately enter all daily transactions into the books of accounts, using Pastel and produce relevant reports
Manage bank accounts and prepare periodic reconciliation statements;
Process payroll, calculate and remit tax and other statutory obligations; ZIMRA, NSSA, PAYE, QPDs and complete necessary returns;
Responsible for procurement activities and ensuring timely payment to all creditors in accordance with organization’s procurement policy;
Credit control functions; collecting debts from our company debtors, evaluating new credit requests, ensuring timely payments of company debts, processing invoices, maintaining the sales ledger, and providing administrative support.
Ensure registration requirements with various authorities are kept current at all times and files statutory returns and renewals
Manage leases to make sure they are current and amendments are processed as required; Maintain asset registers, conducting regular stock control and update accounting records accordingly;

Qualifications and Experience

Degree in any discipline preferably business management/accounting/finance/Economics
Proven successful 2 years’ experience of management.
Experience in the Industrial spare or auto spare parts industry will be an advantage.
Powerful leading skills and business orientation.
Customer management skills.
Clean class 4 drivers license
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
