Mother Touch Group of Schools is seeking a responsible and dynamic Boarding Master with strong Christian values to oversee the welfare, discipline, and holistic development of students in our boarding facility at Selous Senior School. The successful candidate will ensure a safe, nurturing, and structured environment that supports academic excellence and personal growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Supervise daily boarding routines, ensuring punctuality, discipline, and adherence to school policies.
* Provide pastoral care, guidance, and mentorship to boarding students.
* Monitor hygiene, safety, and welfare standards within the boarding house.
* Coordinate evening study sessions, recreational activities, and weekend programs.
* Maintain effective communication with parents, staff, and administration regarding student welfare.
* Uphold the school’s Christian ethos and values in all boarding activities.

Additional Skills Requirement (Morning Engagement):
* To maximize productivity during school hours when students are in class, the Boarding Master must possess at least one additional skill area, such as:
* Sports Training & Coaching – lead sports programs, fitness sessions, and extracurricular activities.
* Repairs & Maintenance – assist with minor facility upkeep, inspections, and reporting maintenance needs.
* Any other area suitable for a boarding school and student affairs

Qualifications and Experience

* Diploma/Degree in Education, Sports Science, Social Work, or related field.
* Prior experience in student supervision, boarding management, or youth mentorship.
* Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
* Ability to manage discipline with empathy and fairness.
* Additional skill certification/experience (sports, repairs and maintenance, etc.) will be an added advantage.
