We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Bar Day Manager. As the Day Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations during the day, overseeing our team, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Your exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills will contribute to the success of our establishment.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Supervise and lead the day staff, ensuring they deliver outstanding service and adhere to all operational procedures.
- Prepare the night shift team for success by ensuring they have all the necessary resources and supplies required for a seamless transition.
- Maintain stock levels by efficiently balancing inventory and placing orders as needed.
- Handle petty cashbook accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper record-keeping.
- Receive and inspect stock deliveries, verifying accuracy and quality.
- Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally, aiming to find quick and effective resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prioritize the upkeep and maintenance of all equipment, promptly attending to repairs or replacements as required.
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked bar area and restrooms throughout the day, ensuring a pleasant environment for customers.
- Supervise workmen, contractors, and cleaning staff to ensure tasks are completed to the highest standard.

Qualifications and Experience

- A degree or diploma in tourism and hospitality or management is an advantage, but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities to handle a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills, capable of resolving customer complaints effectively.
- Proactive approach to ensuring equipment is in good working order and addressing repairs promptly.
- High standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.
