ACCOUNTS OFFICER

Duties and Responsibilities

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

* Capture daily financial data and transactions.
* Process payments and maintain cashbooks.
* Prepare daily and periodic reports for management.
* Ensure basic compliance with statutory and internal financial procedures.
* Reconcile petty cash and bank statements.
* Assist at reception by greeting visitors, answering calls, and providing general front-office support.
* Perform general administrative duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Requirements

* Diploma/Certificate in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field.
* 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
* Computer literate; experience with accounting software (e.g. Sage, Pastel, QuickBooks) is an advantage.
* Accurate, organised, and able to multitask across finance and front-office duties.
* Traceable references.
