Seeking a skilled and detail oriented Accounting Clerk to provide a range of Accounting, Bookkeeping and Financial tasks to our organization. In summary the job will entail maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports reconciling bank statements and providing administrative assistance to the Accounting department

Duties and Responsibilities

• Invoicing and receipting of payments
• Posting and reconciling payments.
• Debt collection
• Carry out Banking activities as required
• Timely Payments of Local and External Suppliers
• Timely Preparation of weekly/ monthly Financial reports
• Preparation and submission of Statutory Returns
• Managing Petty Cash
• Maintains the fixed Asset Inventory
• Assisting Accountant with Internal and External Audits

Qualifications and Experience

• 1st Degree and or Diploma in Accounting (both will be an advantage)
• Knowledge of an Accounting System
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position
