Job Description

We are looking for an Accounts Clerk to ensure that financial transactions are recorded, verified, and processed in compliance with company policies and accounting standards. This role involves meticulous record-keeping, attention to detail, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The Accounts Clerk also supports payroll processing, financial reporting, and audit preparations. As a vital finance team member, the Accounts Clerk contributes to the organization's overall financial health through precise and timely financial management.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and registers.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts promptly and accurately.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Provide support in payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders for financial information.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and record maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
- Address inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding financial transactions.
- Contribute to audit preparations and provide necessary documentation.
- Participate in special projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree/Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Previous experience in a similar role or internship .
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet tools.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
He or She should possess a clean driver's license
