We are seeking a qualified and experienced individual to join our team. Reporting to the Accountant, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following key duties:
Key Responsibilities
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Reconciling financial ledgers and records on a monthly and ad-hoc basis.
• Assisting in the preparation of year-end closings and accompanying financial reports.
• Preparing invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
• Ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, including timely filing of VAT, income tax, and other statutory reports.
• Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and ad-hoc reports as required.
• Ensuring strict adherence to all deadlines for the submission of internal and external reports; and
• Performing any other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
• A Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• A professional accounting qualification e.g. CA, CIMA, ACCA and /or CPA is an added advantage.
• At least 2 years related work experience.
